Revenue Cycle Specialist III

Abbott seeks a Revenue Cycle Specialist III to serve as a subject matter expert on order-to-cash processes. The role involves managing revenue cycle tasks, resolving claims, supporting workflow optimization, and collaborating across departments in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as process subject matter expert for internal teams on order-to-cash handling and source documents
- Resolve revenue processes, manage EMR system queues, and troubleshoot patient claims
- Collaborate with leadership on workflow management and resource allocation
- Support cross-department project initiatives and attend associated meetings
- Utilize Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to support team initiatives and process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years contact center, data entry, or customer service experience
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase
- 1+ years medical data entry experience using EMR systems
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, medical billing, insurance, and laboratory terminology
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and PDF file manipulation
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $20.50–$41.00/hour
