Schedule: 3x12 hour Night shifts; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Highlights:

• Specialized transplant PCU unit caring for abdominal transplant patients including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants
• Maintain a manageable patient ratio of approximately 1:5 on nights
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system for documentation
• Combined ICU/PCU unit environment; travelers care exclusively for PCU-level patients (ICU experience not required)
• Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 22-bed unit with daily census of approximately 20 patients, providing stable and consistent staffing

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1-2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown/IMC) experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV starts, blood product administration, and central line management
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
