Property Accountant

Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to manage the financial aspects of a commercial real‑estate portfolio of three Class A office buildings (370,000 sq ft) and an adjacent HOA in the South Bay. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable management, lease and billing compliance, budgeting support, audit preparation, and year‑end reconciliation activities. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Track and prepare tenant billbacks Manage annual CAM reconciliations with the Assistant General Manager Prepare tenant termination forms Assist with cash management procedures Assist with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Prepare monthly accruals Analyze and execute leases, including abstracting key financial terms and ensuring proper accounting administration Prepare and distribute monthly rent statements Maintain W‑9 management Perform administrative duties as needed Required Qualifications 3–5 years of property accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and real‑estate accounting principles Proficiency with Yardi Strong Excel skills Experience with lease administration preferred Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and proficient time management Compensation Estimated salary: 125,000.00 – 137,000.00USD per year Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, market conditions, and other factors.
