Experts in the art of hospitality, the Grove Hotel and the Block22 Companies create memorable experiences. We are a destination for experiences beyond the ordinary, in the heart of downtown Boise. As a Night Auditor at the Grove Hotel, you’ll be the quiet hero of the overnight shift by balancing books, supporting guests, and keeping operations running smoothly until morning.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verify and post all daily room charges, ensuring they are correctly assigned to guest folios or master accounts.
- Post, confirm, and balance all charges and adjustments made throughout the day.
- Run required system reports and ensure all end-of-day processes are completed with supporting documentation attached.
- Reconcile balances between the property management system and the credit card processing system to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of integrity, professionalism, and service throughout guest and team interactions.
- Provide assistance to overnight guests and ensure all guest needs are addressed with care and efficiency.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must be friendly, guest-focused, knowledgeable about the area, and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain focused and accurate during the overnight shift
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with hotel property management systems.
- Understanding of basic accounting, auditing, and front desk operations.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during overnight shifts
- Ability to lift, carry and manipulate various items (ex: luggage) weighing up to 50 pounds
