Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/HVTI unit setting, with potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
• Participate in holiday rotation coverage as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or related specialty; recent Stepdown experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open background or license hits; all certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care experience preferred
• Experience within a single facility for the required specialty tenure is preferred, though combined experience will be considered
