Part-Time Bilingual Reading & Math Tutor (English/Spanish) – In Person

Smart Thinkers LLC is seeking a passionate and reliable Bilingual Tutor to provide one-on-one reading and math instruction to elementary students in grades K–5.

This is an in-person, part-time position serving students in the 77075 and 77089 areas. Sessions are held at local libraries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging one-on-one tutoring in reading and math.
• Teach students in both English and Spanish as needed.
• Assess student needs and adapt lessons accordingly.
• Communicate student progress with parents and Smart Thinkers LLC.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students.
• Strong knowledge of reading instruction, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and foundational math skills.
• Comfortable teaching in both languages.
• Reliable transportation to local libraries in the 77075 and 77089 areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

• Part-time position with a maximum of 4-6 hours a week.
• Flexible schedule.
• Pay: $18–$22 per hour , based on experience.
• W-2 position.
• Training and instructional support provided.
