About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required 1 year of in-specialty experience is mandatory License: Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Cardiac and General Surgery experience is a must Experience in scrub and circulate roles is essential Proficiency in specific surgical skills is required Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care during surgical procedures. Candidates must have experience in Cardiovascular and General Surgery cases. Applicants should possess expertise in both circulating and scrubbing roles. Proficiency in vascular procedures, orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries, ENT, urology, robotics, and gynecological surgeries is essential. The role involves taking call shifts and providing weekend coverage as scheduled. Candidates will work with an average daily census of 22 surgical cases. Only candidates with a minimum of 2 years RN experience and 1 year of in-specialty experience will be considered. Flu vaccinations are required, with no exceptions unless documented medically. The work environment is a short-term acute care facility with a commitment to teaching and training. All qualifications and documentation must be completed prior to applying.
