Description – What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine and advanced lab analyses—covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other specialties—as guided by established protocols.
• Assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and expertly prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff and students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working space while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your time with us.
