Your Role – What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and complex lab tests across a variety of disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to precise protocols.
• Evaluate and verify results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection procedures and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain extensive documentation of lab processes, provide training for new colleagues or students, and help uphold stringent quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification current throughout your tenure.
