This contract position involves providing home health services for a duration of 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible. The role includes managing patient care with a focus on clinical competencies such as wound management, IV therapy, ports, lab draws, and chronic disease management, while ensuring documentation in electronic medical records is timely and accurate. Job Details: Position: Home Healthcare Professional (HH) Location: Ironwood, Michigan Start Date: 08/31/2026 Schedule: 8-hour days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for additional coverage during holiday and weekend rotations Requirements: Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), active Michigan and Wisconsin license, valid drivers license Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of home health experience (preferred), charting experience with Oasis (required), Epic EMR experience (preferred) Skills: Hardworking, excellent time management, resilient, adaptable to change, dependable, compassionate, positive attitude Responsibilities: Managing Oasis admissions, episode management, and clinical documentation Coordinating patient care and follow-up calls within the territory Providing wound care, IV therapy, lab draws, port management, and chronic disease management Covering 5 to 6 patient visits daily, potentially up to 150 miles within a day depending on patient distribution and staff availability Participating in holiday and weekend rotations, including on-call duties every 4th weekend and one weekday, with coverage for the 4th of July Additional Information: During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times as per organizational policy Contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours during periods of low patient volume Benefits The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1296635.
