Physician Assistant

Role Overview A Neurology trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is needed in the Neurology department of a multispecialty clinic in the Bronx, NY 10458. Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 annually Benefits: Health, vision and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, PTO. Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. After hours and weekend coverage not required! Location: Bronx, NY 10458 Setting: Outpatient multispecialty clinic Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive neurological histories and physical exams. Order and interpret neurological diagnostic tests (MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, lumbar punctures, labs) Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, or lumbar punctures (TPI training provided) Provide post-procedure monitoring and patient education Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and clinical staff Document encounters using EHR system eClinicalworks Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York Active DEA License (or willingness to obtain one) 1+ years of Neuro experience as an NP or PA Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required Compassionate, patient-focused approach Pomera Care is a healthcare recruitment and consulting agency.
