Certified Nurse Aide - Overnight Shift 11PM - 730AMSitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center (SBVCC) is recruiting for a Certified Nurse Aide.CNAs are expected to perform the following duties:Assist with meals and escorts residents to the dining hall.Make rounds regularly, answer call lights promptly and respond courteously.Complete all required paperwork/computerized documentation for charting assessments.Provide each resident the necessary care in accordance with his/her plan of care and ADL record.Monitor and observe residents' physical, mental, and emotional status, and report changes to Charge Nurse.Minimum Qualifications:Current Virginia Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of personal care needs and activities of daily living (ADL's).Physical ability to turn, bend and lift non-ambulatory adult patients without restrictions.Additional Considerations:Experience in a long-term care or adult geriatric setting.Special Instructions:You will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
