This position serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for ensuring compliance, supporting employees and managers, and leading HR programs that promote organizational success.The HR Manager directly supervises HR staff and oversees front desk operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day human resources operations and HR team performanceEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsManage employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective action processesAdminister and support leave management programs, including FMLAOversee workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processesPartner with leadership on workforce planning, policy development, and organizational initiativesManage HR compliance audits, documentation, and reportingSupport recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee engagement effortsGuide managers on performance management and employment practicesMaintain and optimize HR systems and records, including PaylocityFoster a positive, transparent, and accountable workplace cultureRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredCurrent or recent experience in a Human Resources Manager roleStrong HR compliance background with expertise in employment laws and regulationsExperience managing FMLA, leave administration, and workers' compensationProven employee relations and conflict resolution experienceSupervisory or leadership experience within an HR functionStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license and ability to travel between local sites as neededPreferred QualificationsSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification, or willingness to obtain certificationTechnologyExperience with HRIS platforms is required.
