Associate Attorney

Zwicker & Associates, P.C. is a national creditor rights law firm focused on ethics, compliance, and assertive representation of clients’ interests. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, the firm protects lenders throughout the country. We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in Voorhees, NJ. The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$90,000 per year. Responsibilities Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of active litigation files Review litigation case files and pleadings to determine appropriate action Advocate on behalf of clients’ interests at various litigation settings Utilize internal proprietary software to properly update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory Analyze and process litigation inventory reports and files, as assigned by the Managing Attorney, to ensure that proper litigation workflow is performed according to firm and client expectations Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures Travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Admission to practice law in the state of New Jersey Strong organizational and time‑management skills Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly motivated self‑starter Eagerness to learn Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one year of litigation/trial experience Working knowledge of civil procedure Debt collection experience Prior experience in a high‑volume environment Physical Qualifications Be able to lift five pounds or greater Be able to sit 90% of the work day at times Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed Be able to read and comprehend position‑specific documents and correspondence Be able to communicate in a common language with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing Be able to travel occasionally when needed by the most efficient means of transportation Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device Be able to complete a minimum 40‑hour flexible workweek schedule Benefits Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental insurance; long‑term disability and life insurance; compensated time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) with matching contributions.
