Accountant

Accountant Full-Time | Non-Exempt A well-established local vineyard and winery is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. This role supports the day-to-day accounting functions and requires experience with full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close. We're looking for a detail-oriented, adaptable professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to process improvements. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable, including vendor payments, reconciliations, loan tracking, CIP activity, and maintaining vendor records. Oversee accounts receivable by preparing invoices, applying payments, monitoring aging reports, reconciling customer accounts, and following up on outstanding balances. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of general ledger accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and special accounting projects. Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy. Qualifications 3+ years of professional accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and full-cycle accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Famous, AgCode, or similar systems preferred). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
