Change Management Analyst

IT Change Management AnalystThe IT Change Management Analyst will be responsible for partnering with IT project and portfolio teams to develop user communications and instructional content, including Pilot / Testing materials, related to technology projects, upgrades, or other IT efforts; and, stakeholders across the broader company to draft and publish content on the company's intranet. Across all efforts, the analyst will advocate for the best user experience. The individual should be able to quickly understand the desired business objectives of project teams and recommend the best change management approaches to accomplish those outcomes, all with the user experience in mind. Where necessary, the individual will develop change management plans, identify and understand Company use cases, and draft content for project-related messaging while collaborating with IT Project Teams, Quality Assurance, Learning & Development, the CIO, among others.Project-Related ContributionsWork with the IT Change Management Manager and IT Communications Specialist to create and execute a change management plan for assigned projects, collaborating with leads of impacted functional areas to ensure appropriate messaging and communication channels.Work with the project teams and business counterparts to understand and document the Company-specific use cases that should be incorporated into testing and training content and materials.Manage overall project-related communications components, identifying cross-functional dependencies, key milestones, and critical paths while working with Project Managers and their teams to ensure schedules stay aligned with the overall IT initiative.Contribute to testing and quality assurance efforts, when necessaryIntranet Content ManagementManage and respond to requests for content updates from across the company, while keeping in mind Company's content guidelines and any competing prioritiesPartner with all other Company departments (e.g. Human Resources, Marketing, Accounting, Knowledge Management, etc.) to support their content management and content creation on the company intranetSupport IT and other Company departments in communicating key messages via the intranet and other IT-supported platformsEscalate concerns or issuesEffectively set realistic expectations and deadlines to meetIT CommunicationsOwn, assess, and improve the existing IT communications processesDetermine appropriate communication media for IT messages, and recommend new options, when appropriateIdentify new ways for the IT organization to engage our company personnel and increase technology adoptionAnalyze available communications metrics to recommend improvements for the company's intranet, IT project-related communications, and maintenance communicationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, a technical field, or social sciences, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience with IT Change Management or communications related to technology within an organizationExperience using a CMS to manage content and communications within an organization
