Senior Accountant

Accountants One has been hired by a highly respected organization in Duluth to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily accounting operations. Maintain the integrity of all accounting records, ledgers, and reporting systems. Supervise the accounts receivable function, including billing, cash application, and collections activities. Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and key performance metrics. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Mentor, develop, and supervise accounting staff to support team performance and professional growth. Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision‑making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of full‑cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, General Ledger, Revenue Recognition, and Payroll. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
