Job Description
Title: Emergency Department Nurse - Emergency Services

Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Block schedule: ONLY Friday-Sunday weekend block available

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed hours: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Usually 3 years RN experience; will consider 2-3 years with Level I trauma center experience plus one travel assignment
- Travel experience: Required
- Charting system: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Assess and manage patients across the lifespan from neonates to geriatrics.
- Participate in triage and management of patients, including those with behavioral health needs.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Vaccines: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccination not required.
- RTO: No RTO allowed first week; max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract.
