Working under the direction of the Director of Talent Management, this role partners with Human Resources and business leaders to implement and support performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, leadership expectations, and talent mobility initiatives. The position provides consultation, resources, and insights to support talent decisions, identify development opportunities, and address workforce needs. This role contributes to leadership development, succession and bench strength, critical talent pipelines, and an enhanced associate and leader experience across assigned business groups. Major Functional Responsibilities Partner with Performance Foodservice HR, business leaders, and Corporate Centers of Excellence to support the design and execution of talent strategies that align with business objectives, organizational capability, and enterprise talent priorities. Manage Performance Foodservice talent management processes and program cycles, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, talent assessment, and leadership readiness initiatives; coordinate stakeholder inputs, prepare analyses, and facilitate review activities Facilitate calibration and talent review discussions to identify high-potential talent, succession candidates, development priorities, workforce risks, and organizational capability gaps. Coordinate succession planning activities for critical roles by assessing bench strength, readiness, and development actions that support leadership pipeline development. Support career development, talent mobility, and leadership development initiatives that enhance employee growth, internal advancement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Consult with leaders and HR partners on talent programs and practices, providing tools, resources, and insights to address current and future workforce needs. Analyze talent and workforce data to assess organizational health, evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and support talent-related decisions. Develop and maintain talent-related communications, dashboards, reporting, and resources that enable consistent execution and governance of talent programs; manage program schedules, tools, communications, and routine implementation activities within approved guidelines and escalated policy, budget, or exception matters as appropriate. Facilitate leadership and talent discussions across Performance Foodservice to support alignment, promote accountability, and inform talent decisions. Manage or support cross-functional initiatives related to talent management, organizational effectiveness, change management, talent technology, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a related field 5 - 7 years of related experience 6 months - 1 year of supervisory, project leadership, or program-management experience Demonstrated experience implementing talent-management programs such as performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, leadership development, or workforce planning. Strong understanding of talent-assessment, succession, performance-management, and employee development principles and practices. Ability to translate established talent strategies into practical processes, resources, and actions that support business and talent objectives. Experience partnering with Human Resources and business leaders to address talent and organizational needs through established talent-management practices and solutions. Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to facilitate talent discussions, calibration sessions, working groups, and presentations for leaders and HR partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret workforce information, identify trends, develop recommendations, and resolve defined issues using established practices. Ability to manage multiple programs and projects with competing priorities, cross-functional dependencies, and varied stakeholder needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex talent concepts clearly and concisely. Ability to build productive relationships, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and gain support for talent initiatives through strong communication and partnership. Sound judgment and discretion when working with confidential talent and associate information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources or talent-management systems.
