Responsibilities
- Perform cardiovascular and non-invasive studies, including M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures with appropriate views and Doppler analysis.
- Interpret data for patient age-related needs (adult, pediatric, neonatal) and communicate findings to the physician.
- Complete peripheral vascular studies (arterial and venous Doppler, segmental pressures, ankle-brachial index, carotid ultrasound) and document results.
- Conduct additional studies per protocol (tilt table, treadmill, 24-hour Holter, pharmacological studies) and maintain accurate patient records.
- Mentor or precept new staff as needed and participate in team education to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS) required; Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required; Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) required; Fetal Echocardiography (FE) preferred; ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS required; CCI-RCS or RDCS required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: At least two years of recent cardiovascular ultrasound experience and/or completion of a one-year certified cardiac ultrasound course (preferred). Two years vascular sonography experience (preferred). Two years pediatric cardiac sonography experience (preferred). One year fetal echocardiography experience (preferred).
- Licensure/ Certifications: As listed above; must be current and hold appropriate state credentials for practice.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity hospital setting and to adapt to pediatric, adult, and neonatal imaging needs.
