Job Description Compressing / Tableting Machine Operator A The Machine Operator Level A is responsible for independently setting up, operating, changing-over, and maintaining the assigned machinery in a safe and efficient manner. They optimize machine operation and troubleshoot problems. The Tablet Press Operator is responsible for processing powdered products on the rotary tablet press to produce tablets. Duties Cleaning /clearance of room and equipment, in-process monitoring and inspections, keep the tablet press within limits, and completing documentation. Ensure work is completed according to schedule. Work cooperatively with supervisor, other employees, and quality assurance. Following company policies and GMPs. Pay Rate range : $22.00 to $26.00 Location Paulsboro Position Requirements Qualifications/ Skills/ Abilities/Strengths Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.), and hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc). Prior experience operating compressing / tablet making machinery. Must have mechanical aptitude and ability. Attention to detail, and a desire for ensuring a high-quality product. Basic math skills, English reading and writing. Minimally High School diploma or equivalent. Requirements Ability to lift 35 pounds to load machine. Fast Paced, On feet throughout the shift.
