Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. Both 36-hour and 48-hour weekly schedules accepted. Contract length: 13-26 weeks available. Every other weekend required. Float requirements apply. Holiday coverage required.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro nursing experience required
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required
• Experience with IV starts and management, peripheral line care, and stroke patient care
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ability to work during potential emergency/disaster situations

• Floating to other units within the facility may be required
