Manufacturing Production Planner
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to join a fast-paced electrical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and managing production schedules, coordinating across departments, and ensuring customer deadlines are consistently met. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize competing demands while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements and demand
- Analyze production data to optimize scheduling and efficiency
- Coordinate with production, quality, warehouse, and purchasing teams to meet deadlines
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to align with material availability
- Forecast customer demand and support planning activities
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure alignment with ISO standards and lean manufacturing practices
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience in assembly manufacturing (soldering or similar) is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO standards and lean principles preferred
