Step into a meaningful role supporting students and educators as a Paraprofessional for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you’ll contribute to a positive, engaging school atmosphere where every child’s learning and well-being are prioritized. What you’ll do:
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction, facilitate small-group activities, and provide one-on-one student support.
- Deliver academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance, helping students overcome challenges and reach their potential.
- Prepare educational materials, organize activities, and aid in reinforcing lesson plans to ensure a smooth learning experience.
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch breaks, recess, and other non-instructional times to promote safety and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized strategies and contribute to each student’s success.
We’re looking for candidates with:
- At least 48 completed college semester units, or an Associate’s degree (AA/AS)
- The ability to successfully pass background and fingerprint screening
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a focus on student needs
