Senior Accountant

This Senior Accountant will work directly with Operations and help strengthen the processes and controls behind the company’s financial results. It’s an opportunity for an accountant who wants their work to matter beyond the monthly close.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze cost and spending variances, investigate unusual fluctuations, and explain findings to management.
- Partner with operational departments to review financial results and develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Maintain fixed assets in the ERP system.
- Prepare schedules and support requests for interim and year-end external audits.
- Help document accounting policies, procedures, and controls for Sarbanes-Oxley implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- At least five years of related professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency with SAP or another Tier I ERP, plus Excel and standard office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with operational teams and explaining financial results.
