About the Role

Candidates need to live in South Florida to be considered. This is a 3 month assignment for maternity leave located in Boca Raton.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Plan, develop and execute AP processes to achieve objectives set by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures to complete all accounts payable processes by the month-end cutoff.
• Review and verify the accuracy of departmental operating statements. Research and communicate any issues and make corrections.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of prepaid expenses, accounts payable, various accrued expenses and related liabilities and other month end close duties.
• Ensure that accounts payable, cash management, inventory, and purchase order processing, are recorded correctly and timely using the Company’s accounting software.
• Ensure that the order processing and inventory control software is processing information correctly and timely.

Qualifications

• 2 + years experience in accounting, financial analysis, and operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and/or finance.
• CPA a huge plus.

Required Skills

• Experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
