Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Site Protection in South San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a California Weapons Permit with 9mm caliber endorsement. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $33.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Perform armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access control points, verify authorization as required, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
