Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant Opportunity

Waverly Heights is currently seeking weekend Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well-being of our residents. If you are a CNA who is dedicated to making a difference by fostering a supportive and nurturing environment and delivering high standards of quality care, please don't hesitate to apply! Our CNA's daily responsibilities include:

• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfort
• Assisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning and help maintain mobility and independence
• Assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirements
• Regularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in condition
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belonging
• Ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocols
• Positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
• Continuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certifications
• Advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
• Following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• Performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department

Our part-time CNAs are scheduled for every other weekend. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
