About the Role

Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes, account reconciliations, monthly sales tax reporting, and compiling annual tax information. Prepare accurate financial statements, maintain/reconcile ledger accounts, update and effectively report out on department budgets. Maintaining strong financial internal controls. Provide sales and inventory analysis reports as needed to help support the division. Provide timely data through ad-hoc reporting for other managers to assist with decision-making. Ensure the integrity of data. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to management for strategic decision-making. Leverage available tools and technologies to analyze data to support process improvements and operational decisions. Process sales commissions and maintain benefit accounts.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field plus a minimum of 1-2 years of broad accounting experience is required, 3-5 years preferred.
• Cost accounting experience in manufacturing is highly preferred.
• ERP and Financial Reporting software experience is required.
• Computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel (especially lookup formulas, & pivot tables) and MS Word (not so much MS Word) is required.
• Ability to analyze financial information and communicate findings effectively. xhyhwjd
