Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center with a Level III NICU.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Services department serving adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25
• Equipment includes GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required to all critical care units and floors
• Varying weekends with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Requirements

• Active RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required
• North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Deliver respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric populations
• Work within a large respiratory team of approximately 120 staff members
• Scrub color requirement: medium gray/pewter
• Facility is a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and home to a Level III NICU and the region's only children's hospital
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
