Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a Level II trauma center with Level III NICU, requiring 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Services department serving adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25
• Uses GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger Infant/Peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Varying weekends required, at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float to all Critical Care units and floors as needed
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required
• North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• No certifications expiring within 30 days of start date
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care service lines
• Work alongside a respiratory team of approximately 120 staff members
• Scrub color requirement: Medium Gray/Pewter
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
