Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a hospital with a Level II trauma center and NICU.

Details

• Work within a large hospital Respiratory Services department serving adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25
• Uses GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Varying weekends required, at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• May float to all critical care units and floors

Requirements

• Current RRT certification required; CRTs will not be considered
• North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services across adult, NICU, and pediatric populations in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Part of a large respiratory therapy team supporting critical care units
• Scrub color requirement: medium gray/pewter
• Located at a regional referral center with Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke, and Level III NICU designations
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
