Position Overview 

We are looking for a talented and motivated Licensed Loan Officer to join our growing team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a client-focused mortgage organization committed to excellence, integrity, and exceptional service. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Originate residential mortgage loans including purchase, refinance, and cash-out refinance transactions. 
• Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from initial consultation to closing. 
• Manage and convert company-provided leads while building long-term client relationships. 
• Analyze borrower financial information and recommend appropriate loan products. 
• Collect, review, and submit required documentation accurately and timely. 
• Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and closing teams to ensure smooth transactions. 
• Consistently achieve production and customer service goals. 

Qualifications 

• Active NMLS License required. 
• Proven experience originating residential mortgage loans. 
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills. 
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously. 
• Customer-focused mindset with high professional standards.

Work Arrangement 

Commission-only structure. 
Preferred: On-site in Farmington Hills, MI. 
Open to remote candidates located in states where Northgate is licensed.
