Job description: Wild Child Day Camp Counselor Summer 2026 Get ready for a wild summer! May 26 - July 10, 2026 Welcome to Wild Child! The best in youth development and hands-on adventure education. Wild Child is a trip and travel adventure day camp that exposes local kiddos to incredible experience within a short drive throughout the front range. We believe our staff is the most important part of our program and aim to give you an amazing summer as well! There are 7 Wild Child Sessions! Wild Child Sessions run May 26 through July 10 and start/end at Woodrow Wilson Academy in Westminster. Staff are responsible for arranging their transportation to/from camp. We start at 7:30am and go until 3pm. We proudly maintain a 2:13 counselor to camper ratio. We have one position available: Lead Counselors 21+. Pay is based on experience. Lead Counselors are required to drive a 15-Passenger Van. As a Wild Child Day Camp Counselor , you are more than a staff member, you are a role model, leader, and the spark that inspires kiddos to be their best selves. What You’ll Do: With a Co-Counselor, Supervise up to 13 awesome campers each day Lead activities, hikes, and “Camper Choice” programs, making every day a new adventure! Be a water warrior during swim days and a superstar at our “Friday Family Gatherings.” Participate in trainings, support our “Parents Night Out” program, and help create memories to last a lifetime. Additional Pay added. Submit collected media to share the joy and magic of camp with the Wild Child community. 21+ Staff are required to drive 15-Passenger vans. Training provided. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children (camping or childcare experience is a bonus!). A clean county, state and federal background check.
