Remote Trauma Data Registrar & Coding Specialist

Sentara Health

Sentara Health seeks a qualified Trauma Registrar to join our team. The role focuses on identifying trauma patients, abstracting data from EMR/EMS, and coding injuries with AIS, ICD-10, and CPT while ensuring timely entry into the registry software.

You will validate data for accuracy, support quality improvement initiatives, and generate reports for committees and external agencies. Training occurs on-site at Sentara Norfolk General before transitioning to remote work within the Hampton Roads,
