\nThe Novant Health Residency in Family Medicine located in Wilmington, North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC Family Physician to join our faculty.\n
\n
\nWe are an ACGME accredited 8-8-8 community program with Osteopathic Recognition, and a rural track, affiliated with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.\n
\n
\nOur program provides care for a wide variety of historically vulnerable, marginalized and underserved populations, including those with opioid use disorder, the unhoused, those with chronic Hep C, as well as a growing LGBTQ+ population.\n
\n
\nCandidate Qualifications:\n
\n
\n• DO or MD degree\n
\n
\n• Board certification in Family Medicine\n
\n
\n• Previous residency teaching and/or private practice experience preferred\n
\n
\nJob Responsibilities:\n
\n
\n• Teaching residents and students\n
\n
\n• Patient care including hospital care with or without obstetrics, administration, and research\n
\n
