Stainless Steel MIG Welder – Custom Fabrication (Direct Hire)

1st & 2nd Shift Available

$5.00/hr Shift Differential for 2nd Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Custom, heavy-duty stainless steel equipment for the fertilizer industry, including:

• Blenders and mixers
• Bucket elevators and conveyors
• Rotary drums
• Custom fertilizer bins and tanks

• Perform stainless steel MIG welding on custom industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Weld using .035–.045 wire (flux-cored and hardwire MIG)
• Weld 1/16”–1/4” material, including stainless and mild steel
  • Pipe, sheet, plate, and structural components
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Complete welds inside, on, and around tanks and complex assemblies
• Maintain strong quality, safety, and workmanship standards

• Welding certification, diploma, or equivalent hands-on MIG welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading ability
• Stainless steel welding experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working in physically demanding positions
• (bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
