Senior Accountant

This role sits within a corporate accounting team responsible for operational accounting and GL activity across multiple legal entities at a $3B organization. The Senior Accountant will own a broad range of month-end close responsibilities, deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, and act as a business partner to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. What You'll Do Own the full month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, reclassifications, and balance sheet reconciliations Perform flux and variance analysis on assigned income statement accounts and ensure expenses are recorded to the correct cost centers and departments Oversee bank reconciliations and cash activity across multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Manage lease accounting, corporate credit card activity, and other recurring operational accounting functions Process intercompany and third-party wire payments in coordination with Accounts Payable with proper GL coding Support SOX compliance, internal controls testing, and maintain audit-ready workpapers and documentation Partner with FP&A and operational teams on actuals reporting and drive process improvements within the close cycle Qualifications 3-6 years of hands‑on experience in a general ledger or corporate accounting role Experience in month‑end close, GL, journal entries, accruals and bank reconciliations Experience handling intercompany transactions highly preferred Strong working knowledge of US GAAP Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
