About UsWe are a top kids' clothing company specializing in licensed and exclusive label collaborations with major retailers throughout the United States.Role OverviewAssist in the creation and development of seasonal outfit collections for the Walmart Big Girls licensed lineConduct research on current style, color, artwork, and market trends relevant to the target audienceGenerate and maintain outfit designs, color schemes, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopWork closely with Lead Designers, Illustrators, Merchandisers, and Product Development teamsAid in the evolution of design concepts that adhere to brand standards, store requirements, and seasonal fashionsEvaluate samples and offer design input throughout the development phaseKeep design files, artwork, and seasonal project details organized and up-to-dateSupport in obtaining approvals and making revisions to guarantee designs meet brand and consumer expectationsRequirementsAt least 2 years of background in outfit design, preferably with a focus on kids' or retail garmentsProficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop softwareSolid grasp of fashion trends, color schemes, artwork, and outfit constructionExcellent organizational and communication abilitiesAdept at handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic settingExperience in licensed outfit design is a bonusMust reside in New York CityPosition is mainly in-person with some flexibility for remote work on Fridays
