Schedule: Night shift, choice of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts; 13 or 26-week assignment available based on preference. Weekend coverage required as needed. 60 guaranteed hours per two-week period.

• Patient diagnoses include colorectal, urological, gynecological, vascular, cancer-related, cardiac, diabetes, and wound care
• May float to similar medical-surgical units as needed; 12-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license in hand preferred; pending license accepted for screening (must complete application within 48 hours of signing)
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Comfortable with 1:6 patient ratios and Epic or comparable charting systems
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
• First-time travelers accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
