This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, and who is adept at using precision tools and machinery. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to meet our production goals. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in tool and die, tooling, lathe operation, CNC machine operation, mill operation, and grinding.Responsibilities:Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to create precision parts.Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment.Conduct routine maintenance and repair on machinery to ensure optimal performance.Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist in the manufacturing industry.Extensive knowledge of the operating and maintenance procedures of CNC machines.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.Excellent knowledge of tool and die, tooling, lathe operation, CNC machine operation, mill operation, and grinding.Strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) software.High level of mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Completion of a vocational school or apprenticeship program in CNC machining or a related field is highly preferred.Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.Commitment to comply with all safety protocols and workplace policies.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
