Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts, US. Start date 09/07/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,479-$2,566 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am). Work setting: hospital-based ICU unit with 32 beds and Neuro Critical Care capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring, assessments, and timely documentation.
- Manage complex therapies and devices, including ventilators and hemodynamic support as ordered.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; respond to emergencies and rapidly evolving situations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, collaborate with the team to adjust care plans, and coordinate with ancillary services.
- Monitor for sepsis, ESRD and AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, and support post-cardiac arrest care and respiratory failure management.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, appropriate documentation, and discharge planning as part of a high-acuity care environment.

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- ICU experience: 1 year in a Level 1 ICU, or 2 years in MICU
- Floating: ability to float to Medical HVCC, SICU and IMC per unit needs
- Geographic restriction: must reside outside a 90-mile radius from the facility
- Agency licensing and onboarding: provide copy of your Massachusetts staffing license and upload insurance to MYCOI as part of onboarding
