Full-Time | $50,000–$100,000+ Potential | Uncapped Commission | No Sundays

BMW of Long Island City is seeking an Automotive Sales Representative to join our growing dealership team. We’re looking for a polished, customer-focused sales professional who can deliver the personalized, high-touch experience expected by luxury automotive customers.

Luxury automotive sales experience is strongly preferred. We also welcome candidates with experience representing German automotive brands at any level, as well as hospitality professionals who understand how to anticipate customer needs, build lasting relationships, and provide an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned vehicles that meet their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Build relationships with customers in person, by phone, and through internet leads
• Respond promptly to leads and schedule appointments
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
• Overcome objections and close sales
• Follow up consistently with leads, appointments, prior customers, and unsold prospects.
• Maintain customer information and activity in the CRM
• Complete sales paperwork accurately
• Partner with sales management and the finance team to complete vehicle transactions
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service
• Follow dealership policies and applicable New York State and federal automotive sales laws

What We’re Looking For

• Luxury automotive sales experience strongly preferred. 
• Experience with BMW or another German automotive brand at any level is highly valued. 
• Candidates with a luxury hospitality, hotel, fine-dining, or other high-end customer service background are also encouraged to apply. 
• Professional presence and a polished, customer-focused approach. 
• Ability to provide a personalized, high-touch sales experience. 
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. 
• Self-motivated, competitive, and driven by results and earning potential. 
• Strong organization, follow-up, and attention to detail. 
• Ability to build long-term client relationships and generate repeat and referral business. 
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and other sales technology. 
• Ability and willingness to learn BMW products, dealership processes, and compliance requirements. 
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the dealership’s insurance and vehicle-use requirements. 
• Availability to work Saturdays and other scheduled dealership hours.
