Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

This position is for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse at a facility requiring robust clinical skills and the ability to handle high-acuity situations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in emergency care protocols and demonstrate strong decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, triage, and manage patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, preparing necessary reports and documentation.
• Effectively utilize EHR and EPIC charting systems for patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5+ years of current Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.
• New York State RN License in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Telemetry experience and ability to read and interpret rhythms required.
