Overview Med-Surg Registered Nurse - Unit A3 / C3 in Saratoga Springs, NY, starting 09/07/2026 for a travel temporary assignment. This Med-Surg RN role covers adult/geriatric medical-surgical patients with high-volume pulmonary cases, infectious disease, oncology, some post-op care, and end-of-life needs. Telemetry is monitored in a central location. Orientation is 36 hours. EPIC charting is required. Shift is 3x12 nights. Weekly pay ranges from $2,110 to $2,196. Assignment type is travel - temporary. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,110-$2,196 per week Start date: 09/07/2026 Shift: Nights, 3x12 Unit: Medical-Surgical (A3 / C3) with telemetry Orientation: 36 hours Assignment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment Location: Saratoga Springs, NY Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients, including those with pulmonary, infectious disease, oncology, post-operative, and end-of-life needs Perform assessments, implement and adjust care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient responses Manage telemetry monitoring, including remote central monitoring and rapid-response activation when needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Work) to coordinate care and discharge planning Document thoroughly in EPIC; maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols Respond to acute changes in patient condition (rapid responses, codes) and participate in care transitions Requirements NY State RN license active at submission Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience Prior travel nursing experience required BLS required; ACLS preferred EPIC charting experience required EKG competency testing required; pass per facility standards (Relias exam within 72 hours of signing) Flu vaccine required during flu season; COVID-19 vaccine not required (exemptions accepted with timely submission) Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement Orientation provided (36 hours) with required system training Ongoing onboarding and credentialing assistance Access to multiple nationwide travel opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
