About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to provide strategic and operational support to the VP of Engineering, AI/ML. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, allowing the VP to concentrate on strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, experienced professional with a background in roles such as Chief of Staff, program management, product operations, engineering operations, or management consulting. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, agenda management, business and operating cadence coordination, OKR and performance management, and leading special projects. The Chief of Staff will also be a trusted thought partner, shaping agendas, managing business and operating cadences, and driving the execution of strategic initiatives. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree being a plus, and at least 6 years of experience in a related role. The role requires a strong familiarity with product and engineering organizations, particularly within the technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and managing operating cadences, executive agendas, and cross-functional coordination. They must possess exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a high degree of discretion and professionalism. The Chief of Staff will be expected to complete complex tasks with little guidance, react with urgency when necessary, and build effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.
