Let's Work Ohio is currently seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Mock Alcohol & Tobacco Mystery Shoppers . This flexible, part-time position plays an important role in helping retailers maintain compliance with age-verification laws and responsible sales practices.
As a Mystery Shopper, you will visit assigned retail locations and evaluate whether employees properly request identification before attempting an alcohol or tobacco sale. No purchases are ever made , and you'll follow a simple evaluation process while documenting your observations.

As a Mystery Shopper, you will visit assigned retail locations and evaluate whether employees properly request identification before attempting an alcohol or tobacco sale. No purchases are ever made , and you'll follow a simple evaluation process while documenting your observations.
What You'll Do
- Visit assigned retail locations throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan
- Conduct compliance checks to verify ID procedures are being followed
- Complete a brief online report after each visit
- Follow assigned monthly routes and schedules
- Represent Let's Work Ohio professionally while maintaining confidentiality
- Part-Time Position - Primarily during the 1st through 6th of each month
- Additional routes may become available throughout the month
- Flexible Schedule
- $17.50-$20.00 per hour (based on assignment)
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.68 per mile
- No sales or purchases required
- Training Provided
- Year-round work opportunities
- Great opportunity to earn supplemental income
- Must be 21-25 years of age (required for compliance program guidelines)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current automobile insurance
- Smartphone with internet access
- Ability to complete a short online training course
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
