Candidates must be open to working 36 or 48 hours per week as needed. Holidays and every other weekend are required. The unit cares for patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute or chronic kidney disease that may require renal replacement therapy. Nurses in this area manage a patient ratio of 1:6 and specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. The team values robust collaboration with community nephrologists and family practice providers. They are dedicated to offering the best care possible for renal patients.
