Job duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greeting and welcoming clients and patients, answering questions and triaging client concerns, answering calls or emails and directing to the appropriate party for resolution, scheduling appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, checking in and checking out clients and processing payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. We're looking for: minimum 1+ years of veterinary receptionist experience. Some previous veterinary assistant experience is preferred, but not required. Compassionate, calm team player with a positive attitude. Exceptional multitasking abilities and strong communication skills. Highly organized with excellent computer proficiency. Self-motivated, with a desire to continuously learn and grow in your role. Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with professionalism and resilience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in difficult or emotional circumstances. Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay range: $19/hr+ depending on level of experience.
