Corporate Communications Manager

Job Description Summary
Hunt Electric seeks a seasoned, agile and strategic communications professional to build and elevate our corporate communications capabilities. The role will support Hunt Electric through developing and delivering internal and external communications support. Additionally, on an as-needed basis, this role may assist Evergreen Holdings and its additional member companies with varying communications needs. This position is based in our Eagan, Minn., office and requires occasional travel (up to 25%) to project sites, portfolio companies and acquisition sites to support organizational needs and collaboration.
Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead our internal and external communications strategy.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Hunt Electric leadership team and provide strategic counsel on all matters related to communications.
• Engage directly with the CEO, president and key leaders on major business moments, company announcements and thought leadership opportunities.
• Leads communications strategy for major organizational alignment at Hunt Electric, including leadership transitions and structural changes.
• Develops and executes annual corporate communications plans and calendars.
• Creates compelling key messages reflecting brand values across portfolio companies.
• Manages crisis communications with scenario-based response plans.
• Provides executive communication support including developing CEO and president speeches, enterprise messages and company meetings.
• Collaborates with HR, Legal, and Marketing on strategic communications.
• Manages media relations related to Hunt Electric, acquisition announcements, corporate milestones and more.
• Manage and oversee internal communications through various channels - Intranet, email, newsletter - collaborating with partners to provide colleagues with the necessary information to help drive their success.
• Updates and maintains suite of communications materials describing Hunt Electric and aligned with Evergreen Holdings.
• Lead acquisition announcement strategy and integration communications.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• 10+ years of corporate, agency or nonprofit communications experience.
• Proven track record of creating comprehensive communications materials.
• Strong interpersonal communication and writing abilities.
• Experience with change management communications.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and project management tools.

Physical Requirements

• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, and photocopiers.
• This position is generally sedentary. Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
• This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
• This position may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented construction environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments.

Pay Range:
$112,640.00 - $163,840.00
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only. In addition to base compensation, Hunt Electric offers a robust benefits plan.
